Agreement:
This approval is intended to prevent problems that could happen onboard, both offshore and in coastal navigation and thus to avoid them. The goal is to protect both the skipper and the team members who join him. To facilitate searches in case something goes wrong, it is advised that each person joining the board also send a copy to an appropriate person. It is wise to inform someone at home about our plans.
You take full responsibility for your decision to join us and you accept everything that might happen on our way.
There was no deal, no promise, no consideration that was not described in this approval, or the crews offer. By signing, the team member certifies that he understands and agrees that he must obey the skipper's legal orders.
Role:
You will assist the skipper in the conduct of the boat (visual and auditory watch quarter etc ...) the daily cleanliness and preparation of the ship (refueling, storage). The crews during the shifts must inform the captain of the conditions that could affect safety at sea (collision route, weather conditions, etc.). You are asked to pay particular attention to the general condition of the ship (protection of woodwork cushions, paint etc.) The goal being, when you leave the boat, it is in the same state as your arrival.
All tasks will be entirely share equitably between all members onboard.
The skipper, for his part, will ensure the smooth running of the boat, in general.
Medical:
The ship has a basic first aid pharmacy. It is strongly recommended that you take with you on board the medicines you need. However team members take full responsibility for their past and present medical situations or that may re-emerge and any health or medical problems that may occur during or as a result of this trip. The crewmembers must be sure to have their treatment for at least twice the duration of the planned trip, or possibly commit themselves to get their treatment during the trip at their own risk. The team members must indicate below any medical condition such as bad hearing, or bad vision, allergy to certain drugs, particular illness, medical treatment in progress: (specify NONE if none).
Medical insurance and repatriation is mandatory. Give the details of your insurance below as well as all contacts.
Commitment:
You certify that you fully complete, but also that you fully accept and agree with the instructions and requirements cited on this crew contract.
Passport, visas, repatriation, guarantee:
Team members must have a valid passport and the necessary visas. Some immigration services want proof that crewmembers or passengers of a yacht are able to return home on their own, or leave the country (other than by boat) to another country where they have full right to Entrance. The crew members are responsible for their travel costs and must understand that they will be asked in the case of embarkation on board for offshore sailing to provide proof of creditworthiness (return ticket with cancellation insurance) by boarding or depositing a guarantee in person (cash or bank check) from the skipper, who hereby undertakes to return the full amount to your port of landing. The guarantee is equivalent to the amount of a return ticket at the fare farthest from the trip.
Insurance:
On the one hand, I accept that medical treatment and medical evacuation is my financial responsibility. On the other hand, I recognize the importance of travel insurance DISEASE and REPATRIATION and assume the compulsory subscription before boarding. CANCELLATION insurance for your airline tickets is highly recommended. I agree to seek medical assistance

if the skipper deems it necessary for me and will take full financial responsibility. Similarly, it should be noted that the insurance of the ship is a basic RC and does not cover the theft of your belongings that are therefore the responsibility of the crewmember.
Swimming certificate:
In navigation, the possibility of falling overboard is always present. In the event of a fall at sea, the possibility of swimming at sea is crucial then for your survival.
I certify by signing this contract that I can swim comfortably: at least 100 meters in a moderate sea.
Interruption of the trip:
You also understand and agree that you will be responsible for all your repatriation costs if you are asked to leave the boat for any reason including reasons of inappropriate behavior, incompatibility with the crew, illness, or inability to perform the necessary tasks, which, in the opinion of the captain, would endanger the smooth running of the boat. However, in this case, the skipper will take all reasonable steps to land you in an accessible port along the planned route, from which you can arrange your trip.
Costs:
You agree that your participation represents your own approved cost share. A cash register will be set up for food and diesel unless special conditions are added in writing at the end of the contract.
Declaration:

I do not have or will not have illegal drugs, no weapons in my possession, no illegal traffic.
I recognize that the cabin put at my disposal on board is empty, except for the navigation equipment present on the second berth (full sailing game).
I will declare in writing any conviction received in any country concerning drug or weapons problems. I will not carry any package or luggage for third parties on the boat without asking permission from the captain.
If the skipper is held responsible for getting me out of trouble, in case I have transgressed local laws or customs, I agree to reimburse all costs incurred and compensate him for the time lost for each day of delay that my action would have caused. I will learn the location and operation of all safety equipment on board. I know and agree that sailing involves significant personal risk including serious injury and / or death.
I or my heirs, parents, legal representatives, successors and assigns, in consideration of my free acceptance as a crewmember - crew member on the vessel - hereby waive any suit and / or claim that I may have or that they may have against the skipper and that would come or be connected in any way with my crew, and keep the skipper and their property safe from all consequences.
Important:
The laws in force at the ship’s homeport will govern this approval: this means French law, as …………. is registered in …………. in France.
